A bordo della navetta Crew Dragon "Endurance" di SpaceX, c'erano la comandante l'astronauta della NASA, Jasmin Moghbeli, l'astronauta giapponese della JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) Satoshi Furukawa, il cosmonauta di Roscosmos, Konstantin Borisov e, naturalmente, Mogensen, compagno di corso degli italiani Luca Parmitano e Samantha Cristoforetti, primo europeo ad avere il ruolo di pilota della navetta Crew Dragon e al suo secondo volo - per la missione Huginn dell'Esa - nonché prossimo comandante della Stazione Spaziale Internazionale.
