nellarealizzazione di navi speciali, ha firmato un contratto per laprogettazione e costruzione di una moderna Energy constructionvessel (Ecv) per Wind Energy construction as, società norvegeseparzialmente detenuta dai fondatori di Norwind Offshore AS. Leparti hanno inoltre concordato un'opzione per una seconda nave.La nuova unità, la cui consegna è prevista per il secondotrimestre del 2027, sarà costruita, allestita, commissionata econsegnata presso il cantiere Vard Vung Tau in Vietnam. La naveavrà una lunghezza di 111,5 metri, una larghezza di 22,4 metri epotrà ospitare a bordo 120 persone. La nuova Ecv sarà basata suldesign Vard 3 11, appositamente progettato per il mercatodell'eolico offshore e sottomarino, includendo ispezione,manutenzione e riparazione di condutture, oltre alla costruzionee installazione di infrastrutture sopra e sotto il livello delmare.Questa nave sarà la prima di Vard a includere una passerellaa controllo di movimento elettrico compensato (Ecmc)permanentemente installata con capacità integrate di gru acompensazione 3D. Sarà inoltre equipaggiata con una gru offshorea compensazione del movimento del mare da 150 tonnellate persupportare il mercato delle energie rinnovabili in espansione.Questa è la sesta nave che la proprietà di Norwind offshoreha commissionato a Vard, con le cinque precedenti unità di tipoCommissioning service operation vessels (Csov).Pierroberto Folgiero, amministratore delegato e direttoregenerale di Fincantieri, ha commentato: "Questo nuovo ordineconferma ulteriormente la nostra leadership tecnologica eindustriale nel settore dell'eolico offshore che è in fortecrescita e con solide prospettive.
